Jenner Jones are Supervising Officers for this reimprovement
scheme involving the deconversion of four existing flats to
provide two large family units. The works have been contracted
on a traditional specification/drawing tender. The property
was found to have extensive timber rot which involved removal
of 75% of timber floors, requiring careful propping and a
programme of replacement work.
The project is being funded from Wandle Housing Association's
own reserves and therefore they are able to rehouse their
own long standing tenants who now require large family accommodation.
This has meant that the prospective tenants have been consulted
with regard to design and finishes for the completed flats.
